DC Bird Alliance Raptor Presentation at The Parks

The Parks will host the DC Bird Alliance on May 30 for a live raptor presentation on the Great Lawn! A celebration of Black Birders Week will conclude with this free event featuring renowned African American falconer Rodney Stotts and his birds of prey. Join the DC Bird Alliance for celebrating birds, conservation, culture, and community. Rodney’s presentation highlights the power of nature connection and the importance of protecting birds and their habitats.

The presentation will be 12-1pm; bring your lawn chair or a blanket and settle in for an inspiring afternoon outdoors.

Birding From the Bench

Before and after the presentation, enjoy “Birding From the Bench” – a relaxed way to watch birds from the Great Lawn. Bring binoculars if you have them, or simply enjoy observing from your seat.

All experience levels are welcome.
