Lady Hatchet x Dunia & Aram Soundclash!
Traditionally, a sound clash involves DJs going head-to-head, trading song for song in a battle to “kill” your opponent and be named the best. However, in this updated, live version, instead of competing, Lady Hatchet of Lady Hatchet Quartet (formerly The Scotch Bonnets) teams up with veteran duo Dunia & Aram (Agent 99, Dubistry) to form a musical super crew, melding their material and trading song for song across each other’s catalogs, to create seamless sets of reggae, soul, jazz and punk.
Backed by DC ska stalwart James McDonald (Eastern Standard Time) on drums, this all-star band always delivers a great time with big tunes, spontaneous versions, out there improvisation, and cool vibrations… everyone wins!
