Cast off with Washington Improv Theater for Ahoy, NoMa!–a nautical-themed fundraiser celebrating our new theater in our new neighborhood!
As we prepare to drop anchor in NoMa, we’re inviting our community to celebrate with an evening of costumes, music, dancing, cocktails, and delicious tacos from Little Miner. Show up as a pirate, a mermaid, or as the boat Jennifer Coolidge fell off of in The White Lotus. No matter how you dress, your ticket will help support our capital campaign to construct a vibrant community hub for the WIT and greater DMV communities. We’ll of course have the traditional silent auction as well!
Join us in our new neighborhood, toast to WIT’s future, and help us build a vibrant space for improv in the heart of the city. Don’t miss the boat!
Event Rundown:
6:30 PM: Pre-event tour of our new theater for Sponsor-level ticket purchasers!
7 PM: The event begins! Relax or dance under the tent and enjoy a taco bar from Little Miner as well as beer, wine, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages from Wunder Garten. You can also place your silent auction bids and learn more about WIT’s space journey. Beverage service ends at 10:30 and will convert into a cash bar.
