2024 Poetry Out Loud National Finals

The 2024 Poetry Out Loud® National Finals will be held in Washington, DC, May 1-2, bringing together high school students from across the nation to the capital for an exciting poetry recitation competition, where one student will win the title of national champion and a $20,000 prize. All 55 state and jurisdictional champions will compete in the national semifinals on Wednesday, May 1. Nine finalists will then proceed to the finals on Thursday, May 2. The semifinals and finals will take place at the Lisner Auditorium at the George Washington University and will be streamed live at Arts.gov/Poetry-Out-Loud.
