D.C. foodies rejoice! The Rounds just launched weekly delivery for farmers market favorites like local produce, pasture-raised meat, eggs, and artisanal cheeses.

The DC-area grocery delivery and household restocking service is making it easier than ever to fill your pantry and fridge with the highest quality foods from organic farms, on a cadence that fits your busy lifestyle.

The Rounds has partnered with Lancaster Farm Fresh Co-op to offer meat options including chicken, pork, beef, and lamb in several cuts. The Rounds also added free range eggs, plus an expanded assortment of veggies including favorites like broccoli, cabbage, and kale.

Members of The Rounds can also order 6 different cheese varieties, a surprise cheese bundle, and artisanal butter curated by Kara McGrath, the cheesemonger behind Paste & Rind Cheese Co. Local shops like Paste & Rind don’t deliver on other platforms, and The Rounds knows that busy D.C. members can’t always make the trip to their favorite neighborhood shops.

Adding more local grocery options feels like a natural next step for the company, which is focused on building sustainability into every step of their logistics. Food from local shops and farms has a shorter travel time, and close relationships with producers make it easier to remove packaging waste from the equation. It all adds up to lower impact on the environment, and greater support for local food systems that keep neighborhoods and communities strong.

Interested in trying all the new local goodies? Use code POPVILLE30 for 1 month of free membership + $30 toward your first two deliveries.

“Looking for a floating oasis in the city? Look no further! This entertaining 42 ft by 14 ft Californian barge boasts two bedrooms and one bathroom. As you walk through the front door, you are greeted with calm and a plethora of natural light. In August 2023, the owner painted the barge interior throughout, including ceiling trim, doors, and new outlet covers. Hardwood floors throughout the barge. The eat-in kitchen includes full-size appliances and enough room for a dining room table to entertain your guests. Walk down the steps into the living room and take in the 15 ft-high wood panel ceiling that reflects the dancing water. The owner renovated the bathroom in 2022 with a newly tiled shower, marble flooring, and a brand new Raritan Marine Elegance head/toilet. In the bathroom, you will also find the stackable washer and dryer, installed in 2018. The large main bedroom has enough space for a desk, creating a perfect work-from-home space. The barge has ample closet storage for day-to-day necessities. Kneel down to look through the closet to the crawl space to find additional storage, even for your seasonal decorations. New argon gas-filled, double-pane windows were installed throughout the barge in 2020, worth $13,000. The new windows support the new custom cellular shades the owner installed in 2023. Two new GE PTAC Zoneline AC and heat units were installed in 2020. Heading up the stairs to the rooftop deck, you can stop into the second sleeping area, big enough for a queen-sized bed and a sitting area. There’s even a porthole window. Continue up the stairs to the rooftop deck, which expands 18.5 ft x 14 ft, and take in water views, the Washington Monument, and The Wharf! In August 2023, the barge underwent a completed safety inspection, which is required every two years. Your floating oasis is ready for you.”

Premiere waterfront dining has arrived in D.C.

On Monday, October 23 Limani opens on The Wharf, bringing an elevated dining experience unlike any other D.C. restaurant.

Serving upscale, authentic Greek cuisine over stunning views of the water, Limani all but guarantees an unforgettable meal.

The restaurant adds a refined, modern flair to traditional Greek specialities. True to the Mediterranean dining experience, the appetizer and entree dishes are designed to be shared among family and friends. This style of service sets Limani apart from other D.C. restaurants, but the unique flavors steal the show.

Limani serves only healthy, quality ingredients. Fish is flown in from the Mediterranean and never frozen, while produce is locally sourced. They cook every dish with extra virgin, cold-pressed olive oil imported from Greece, which is available to buy separately. There is no fryer in the kitchen, and not a single dish contains butter.

The delicious plates might be the star, but Limani’s ambiance is just as breathtaking. The restaurant and rooftop bar offer panoramic views on all three levels, with the largest full-service terrace on The Wharf. Meanwhile, the thoughtfully designed interior sets the tone for a sophisticated evening that transports you to the Mediterranean.

The restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows and a meticulous design that provides an intimate, sophisticated atmosphere. The decor includes a bar made from marble flown in from Greece, the same type of stone used in classical Greek monuments dating back to the fifth century.

No matter the occasion, Limani is the restaurant of choice for an unmatched dining experience. Discover DC’s newest waterfront destination by reserving a table at Limani!
