Join us for our safe, drive-through electronics recycling event at Audi Field, and be part of a ‘double-green’ community effort.

ForestPlanet is working with an R2 certified recycling firm that has years of experience in the proper disposal of electronic devices, including computers, monitors, scanners, printers, cell phones, fax machines and so on. There is a nominal per-item disposal fee, e.g., $4.50 per laptop. This fee guarantees that a significant amount of mercury and other dangerous materials will never end up in a landfill or burned on some distant shore.

ForestPlanet, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization that focuses on supporting reforestation projects all over the world, and will plant 10 trees for each load of electronics items received.

Special thanks to D.C. United for hosting this event, and to Audi of America for helping support this initiative. We’re grateful for additional support received from Ecoprint, The Rounds and Utility Advisor.
