Many probably recognize this awesome mural located next to the Warehouse Theater on 7th Street. I imagine it’s not going to be up forever given the development in the area, so I thought it was important to capture it for posterity. I love the “Free to the city love J” dedication. Unfortunately it is a bit obscured by the garbage cans but you get the idea.
But it’s still not clear how he is able to fix the car while in an impressive feat of strength he holds the car over his head.
It was kind of hard to get a good angle of this mural but after approximately 1278 times walking across U Street this is the first time I noticed it. Too bad it’s blocked a bit by the adjacent building.
And a great restaurant to boot.
I thought it says VAROOM but I couldn’t quite make it out. So I’m going to pretend is says VAROOM because I like the sound of that.
Mmm, carrots… Some people are pretty weird, yeah?
