Nice copper over the bay window. Great windows all around for that matter.

This house also on 13th St. always impresses me. It also has a terrific garden every summer. Is it possible only one family lives in this house? Pretty beautiful, no?

Located on NH just south of the Petworth metro. This house is a beauty. Great front door, nice bay window, and great front porch. It looks like the house next door is being completely renovated as well. Then I took note, it looks like a ton of the houses on that block are getting renovated. Stay tuned…

Right near Red Rocks and Tivoli. That balcony looks like a sweet breakfast spot…

I forget which block I took this picture but I really like the shutters.

I love this house. It has a fantastic garden and a really good vibe. It also is located right behind the awful Petworth atrocity going up on N.H. and Upshur so at least you can see what a beautiful house can look like when done properly. Those at work on N.H. and Upshur should take notes…

Sticking with the theme of the intersection of Colorado and 14th – check out this awesome house. The great hanging plants really caught my eye.

This house is ridiculous it has such a great garden. This picture obviously does not do it justice. The garden goes all the way down the side of the house around to the backyard. As a reader suggested, this is one of the greatest gardens in the neighborhood. They obviously spend a lot of time on it and we all get to enjoy it.

Thanks to a reader who pointed out that I was focusing a bit too much below Grant Circle. As a result this week’s house of the week is from Emerson and 4th Street. It is a beautiful house with lovely flower boxes. The picture speaks for itself as always.
