Can you dig it?

Perhaps I tolled the death knell for door knockers a bit too early last week. This is by far the coolest one I’ve ever spotted.

Nothing too special here but sometimes it’s just nice to see a good old solid wood door. Although it must suck for the mailman to have to crouch down to put the mail through the slot nearly touching the floor.

I call this one “the lost art of the door knocker”. You know with the advent of the dreaded doorbell we have really missed out on some fresh door knockers. Cool door in its own right anyway…

I’m sorry if people are bored with vestibules but they continue to amaze me every time I see one. Can you tell how dope that tiling is?

Not a bad security door either, eh? But do you think it would look better without a security door at all?

Not sure if you can tell but that is some pretty sweet stained glass behind there.

It looks really good surrounded by the stones, yeah? I wish I knew there were options for security doors like this before I put in my standard ones years ago. Style and function, who’d a thunk it?
