Lots going on at this Columbia Heights door but I dig it.

“Dear PoP,

I love this door, it’s in Bloomingdale, just a block north of the Big Bear Cafe, and is on my walk to the farmers market. If you haven’t published it yet, I’d love to share it with your readers. It’s at Randolf Place NW and 1st St.”

I think I have posted this door before but it’s spectacular so I have no problem with a Re-PoP especially if it’s a reader request. It’s gotta be new to somebody. Keep ’em coming!

A great example of an older glass door opening up onto a vestibule. And of course some great stained glass…

OK, this is definitely the most requested reader door of the day. And I understand, it is most definitely dope sky. But this is the last time for a while. It’s from 2133 R Street, NW and the house is amazing as well:

Well not the door itself but this scene is from an alley way and I really like the way they beautified an otherwise dreary alley entrance.

I’m sure this must be a re-PoP but I really love the contrast of the glass with the stone. Super fresh.

This great door is just a few doors down from today’s HoTD (below). I kinda like how the door is of center with the entryway.

It always saddens me when I see homeless folks in church doorways. Let’s put homelessness on our list of problems to solve. I’m not being sarcastic. It is a “hidden” problem that is not pleasant to talk about but it’s quite heartbreaking.
