I’ve always liked this building, I think I’ve posted the door before. The condo looks like it is on the ground floor or garden level. Do you think $395,000 sounds reasonable for this 2 bed/2 bath?

“Sweet c. 1900 row house in the heart of the U Street Corridor. Metro, shopping galore, lots of dining, and nightlife are all within a few blocks! Two bedrooms, two and one half bathrooms, wood floors, gas fireplace, washer/dryer, kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters. Whole house was renovated within the last five years (all systems replaced).”

As with houses like this let me know what you think of the renovation itself. Does $535,000 sound reasonable for this 2 bed/2.5 bath? I guess I should ask her, how much value do you add to a basement? Is that a big deciding factor on whether or not to purchase a home?

Since I walked around Georgetown a bit I thought it’d be interesting to feature one their old homes for sale. Man, this is a cool one. Check out the virtual tour, it is one of the most unusual I’ve seen. I think it looks pretty sweet but am curious why it has been on the market so long (182 days). What do you think of the home itself? $739,000 sound reasonable?

I know folks don’t like GDoN without photos but I was intrigued by the price on this one. It’s close to the metro and all the happenings on 11th Street, NW. So does $250,000 sound reasonable? Even if you need to put in some money seems like it could be a good deal. What do you guys think?

It looks like this is a groundfloor/garden condo. Do you think that’s why it’s been on the market so long? Is 123 days considered a long time in this market? What do you think of the condo itself? Does the new price of $329,000 sound reasonable?

We judged the building before it was completely finished back in July and folks mostly liked it. Now we can get a look inside. It seems pretty nice. Units range from $259,000 – $293,000. Sound reasonable? What do you think of the units themselves?
