This one home from a whole row on Florida Avenue that looks pretty similar. I particularly liked this one because of the metallic front. None of the others looked like this. Gives it a kinda cool retro/modern feel. Can I say retro/modern?

I’m a supporter of the window as well as the wood thing up top.

I bet they get to drink their morning cup of coffee at noon too…

I’m pretty sure this is a recent renovation. I think it looks good. Especially digging the wrap around balcony and porch.

We judged the Metropole building at 15th and P a few weeks ago but I forgot to point out this cool feature. I’ve never seen a skylight like this right on the sidewalk. It’s pretty wild. Does anyone know what is down there? I’m guessing it may be related to the gym in the building? Pretty cool though, yeah?

Blue doors are sweet.

Pretty sweet door(way) too, check it after the jump. (more…)

Coolest doorway for an apartment building in the city for sure, yeah?

This row of houses on the 1700 block of Q Street may very well be the coolest in the city. Someone told me that one of these houses used to be a group house.
