Wow, this one located on Van Ness Street just west of Connecticut Ave, I think, blew me away. Does this style have a particular name? I’m not sure if it’s a museum or embassy or what. Anyone know? Thumbs up or down?

This was an awesomely random sight that just has to make you smile. I know it has made a few folks smile because I received a number of emails about this Winne the Pooh located on Sherman Ave just south of Park Road.

Can’t remember if I’ve posted this one before but it’s very striking because it’s the only one I’ve ever seen that has an extension in the front of the house.

This one is located on 11th Street where the street curves a bit North of Logan Circle (anyone know the cross street?). I actually think the house looks pretty good though I’m not a big fan of the stone on the first level. But I think it blends in pretty well even though it’s a bit larger than the other homes. What do you think – thumbs up or down?

I really like the style of the one on the left. But I’m wondering if it is skinnier than the one on the right or is it just an optical illusion?

This building recently went up on Georgia Ave. It sits next to the gas station by Park Road. I’m guessing it will be condos or apartments and it looks like it will have underground parking. While it’s a pretty simple design, it’s nice to see this section of Georgia Ave get some new digs. Think the building works for Georgia Ave?
