Sadly as I mentioned earlier I’ve misplaced my notepad so I don’t have the locations for all the photos I took last weekend. Nevertheless I think this one is from 16th St. south of U. I believe it’s actually a foundation, perhaps PETA but I’m not 100% sure. At any rate the details on this spot are fantastic.

Here’s a beauty from 16th Street just north of Park Road.

I’m not sure if I’ve featured it before but I saw it again this past weekend and was shocked all over again. It is an addition to the Women’s National Democratic Club (the addition sits on Q Street near Dupont Circle). It looks like some sort of bunker. Was this a proper style back in the day? Does anyone dig it?

Ok, I’m in a bit of trouble this week. I lost my notepad for the photos I took last weekend so I have to go on memory here. I remember taking this photo because I thought the bike out front gave it a cool vibe. I think it was on 10th or 12th near Cardozo High School.

Some great stained glass house numbers in the transom (just learned that word…). I also dig the big glass section which likely leads to a sweet vestibule.

I always like to highlight homes with interesting paint jobs. I think this one on the 100 block of T Street, NW came out pretty good.

What can I say, there are a lot of cool ones on Macomb Street. But I’m curious what you think about the extension here. Personally I think I’d want more windows. I guess it’s a balance of privacy vs. windows, yeah?

I’m really enjoying the look of modern buildings (additions) nestled between older buildings. This one is located at 675 E Street, NW. Do you dig the look?

And nearby is the Marian Koshland Science Museum of the National Academies located at 500 5th St, NW. I’d never heard of this one before. But it looks pretty cool. You can see their current exhibits here. Anyone ever check it out?

The shells on the 600 Block of Irving Street, NW are getting fixed up. There were some wild looking ones not too long ago. The house on the right looks pretty good. But I’m totally confused by the house on the left. It is only one story and does not go back very far. What’s the deal with the one on the left?

And while we’re on the block, it looks like the “Park View” is finally fixed up.
