Man, this is ferocious. I guess the frame is bronze copper or something. But the detail is extraordinary. After the jump check out a closeup plus the door and some nice stairs to boot. (more…)

And some pretty nice stonework as well. Do yo call that stonework? Does that craftsmanship have a proper name I’m not familiar with? Whatever it’s called, it’s pretty sweet.

The two things that I wish my house had were some sweet stained glass numbers and a nice vestibule with that fresh tiling that goes half way up. I’m still looking for vestibule pictures, if you have one hook a PoP up! Please.

This is a bit of an awkward pop up. But it could be worse if the front were vinyl like the side is. It almost looks a cartoon character. Doesn’t it? Well, I don’t like to judge, I’m just saying…

You know you are rolling in it when you have copper gutters. Right? Aside from looking cool, what is the functional benefit of a copper gutter? I tell you what, if I had copper gutters, I’d definitely have central air conditioning…

This almost looks like Jerusalem stone. Pretty neat. When completed do you think it will fit in with the more traditional brick homes on the block?

Here is another nice photo (if I do say so myself) of new condos overshadowing old school row houses. The condo is the new PN Hoffman building on 14th St.

I wonder when these were painted different colors or if it was more recently that each home owner independently picked different complementary colors. Do you think the neighbors consult with each other?  Free PoP t-shirt to be given out at next week’s happy hour if you can guess what street this is on? The first correct answer in the comments wins.  I’m having trouble remembering myself so you may have to be patient while I jog my memory for confirmation.

Just awesome. I’d imagine stairs like these are super expensive to install now a days, right?

I love these Mediterranean style roofs. Do they work as well as other style roofs? How come we don’t see more of these?
