Spring is when birds build their nests and find new places to call home. It’s also a great time for you to find your new home.

But as in nature, the best places to nest always go fast — especially in Washington, D.C. and especially in Ballston. Ballston takes all the best parts of the big city and mixes it with a unique style that makes Ballston such a gem in North Arlington.

The townhomes of Trenton Square at Ballston provide the perfect balance to the cosmopolitan cadence, and it’s not going unnoticed. This elegant 19-home community is almost sold out.

These townhomes have four levels of luxury and elegance with the space and comfort to stretch your legs, take a deep breath and bathe in the light pouring through all the large windows.

The main level of the townhomes of Trenton Square is all about productivity. A two-car garage protects your vehicles and gives you some extra flex space. A dedicated office space lets you easily work from home without taking over the dining room or cramming uncomfortably into a corner of your bedroom.

The next two levels provide fuel, fun and recharging. Find a designer kitchen with microbe-resistant quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a large island that will inspire many delicious meals. A spacious dining and family room fill out the floor, providing all the room you need to entertain.

Above that, on the third floor, is your owner’s suite. Decadent. Refreshing. A sanctuary within a sanctuary.

The fourth floor is special because that’s where a large and airy loft space leads out onto your private outdoor terrace. Dine under the stars, dance with the rising sun, or share a glass of wine and a good book with the fresh air. Your private terrace provides the ultimate natural recharge.

It’s no wonder most of our homes are already sold!

Then, just down the road in the heart of Ballston, all the best dining, shopping and entertainment await you. Over 80 restaurants, boutique shops and essential services are within five blocks. You’re also close to parks, movie theaters, immersive virtual experiences, and even an ice rink (home of the Washington Capitals) — can’t get much cooler than that!

When your adventures take you farther than Ballston, just around the corner you’ll find access to all the major roads and Metro to take you deeper into Arlington, D.C. and beyond. At Trenton Square, you’re only 10 minutes to Tysons and 4 minutes to Washington, D.C.

Trenton Square at Ballston combines the peaceful calm of a luxury townhome, the electricity of Ballston, and the excitement of D.C. But don’t delay: The townhomes of Trenton Square are selling and selling out fast. Contact us today and come home to Trenton Square.

4 levels, 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 2-car garage — from just over $1 million.

Dear PoPville readers,

I started D.C.’s only living-wage cleaning service because I believe in doing right by people, and my team has not lost sight of that vision for a moment. For more than a year now, Well-Paid Maids has prioritized employee and customer safety as we all faced COVID-19 together.

When the pandemic hit, we made the impossible decision to close temporarily, viewing it as the only way to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. Once the scientific community understood how the virus spread, we opened back up at a reduced capacity and with common-sense, people-first safety precautions in place, even when it hurt our bottom line.

As our community pushes to return to whatever the new normal looks like, I can promise you that Well-Paid Maids will continue to put health and safety first. For example, we are actively encouraging all employees to get vaccinated by offering substantial cash bonuses to those who are immunized and company-paid transportation to and from vaccination sites. The photo above is of Nishad (and his mother), who has been with us for three years, right after receiving their shots last week. You may remember Nishad from our last PoPville post.

New to the Dupont scene, ala is reshaping the way happy hours and brunches are done in D.C. and just in time for the warm weather, too!

Why limit yourself to a few pre-selected happy hour items when you could try the entire menu? This is exactly what ala realized when crafting their new Happy Hour deal. Beginning this Monday, April 12, ala will be offering 25% off the ENTIRE menu during Happy Hour. Rather than just a few bar snacks and house beverages, ala wanted guests to have a chance to try everything they have to offer.

Monday through Thursday from 4-6 p.m., you can enjoy everything from their charcuterie options to their Short Ribs with Chickpea Cream — for ¾ of the price. Included in this deal are their photo-worthy speciality cocktails plus wines from all over the world.

The key meaning behind their name, ala, is a blend of all the colors, and with that in mind, they have created this Happy Hour deal to allow us to come together and have the flexibility to try the many flavors, colors and offerings they have to offer — without restrictions.

Virginia Tech’s Evening MBA program is among the best in the country, according to a 2022 survey of the nation’s top graduate schools by U.S. News & World Report.

In the newly released rankings of Best Part-time MBA programs, Virginia Tech’s Falls Church-based program is ranked No. 28 overall and No. 1 in Virginia.

In addition, Virginia Tech’s Arlington-based Executive MBA was named the nation’s fifth best by GreatBusinessSchools.org.

“The rankings reflect our commitment to providing students with top-quality education, immersive experiences, and a robust network that will strengthen their career prospects for years to come, all at a high-value tuition rate,” said Dana Hansson, director of MBA programs at Virginia Tech.

In January, Virginia Tech announced it will expand this commitment by offering a fully online MBA program.

“Accommodating students with virtual learning over the last year across all of our MBA formats allowed us to explore fully online delivery as a permanent option through the recently announced Online MBA. This new program seats its inaugural cohort this summer, and we’re already encouraged by the level of interest and strength of the applications we’ve received,” said Hansson.

The online program will build on the strength of Virginia Tech’s already established programs, said Parviz Ghandforoush, Associate Dean for Graduate Programs at Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business.

“The new format allowed us to combine some of the tried and true features of our established in-person MBA formats and online master of information technology to craft the best possible educational experience for students who value consistent interaction with their classmates and also want the flexibility of an online program,” Ghandforoush said.

Program leadership is encouraged by the latest recognition for its Evening and Executive formats and looks forward to expanding its suite of part-time programs.

“Our strategic focus since 2013 has been to provide working professionals with flexible options that fit into their personal and professional lives. We’re excited to provide this new opportunity to professionals across the globe who want to further their careers and join our talented group of students and alumni who are proud to call themselves Hokies,” Hansson said.
