I think I may have posted a similar photo a month or so back but this is a new angle and it just knocks my socks off every time I notice the contrast. It looks like a post card doesn’t it? Whenever anyone talks shit about DC again I’m just going to send them this photo.
This home at 19 Rock Creek Church Rd. is going for $385,000. I was unable to find photos on line but it looks pretty sweet from the brochure I picked up. The pamplet does say it is a “fixer upper”. So would you pay $385,000 for a fixer upper on Rock Creek Church Road across from the Old Soldiers Home?
I dig these windows that just seem to float on their own. I imagine it is a great place to read a book.
You know you are living the good life when your closet has a window like this one. This closet is located at 1407 W Street, NW. I believe this one bedroom was going for $369,000. Might be a bit steep but there is a window in the closet!
It’s all about the levels.
There is an awful lot going on here. Water, trinkets, rocks…just soak it all in and don’t think too deeply on it.
I am fairly confident that there is a significant amount of grey poupon behind those doors.
A bit obscured by the tree but that is part of the beauty in my opinion. This one sits on a corner lot and it just rocks.

This house on Rock Creek Church Road always makes me smile. I used to walk my dog past this house every morning and afternoon and the elderly gentleman who lived here always had kind words to say every single day morning and evening. So I was saddened to notice that it is for sale. Some of the older residents are truly the hidden treasures of our communities, it always saddens me when I see their houses going for sale.
