This is the building at 3910 Georgia Ave next to the Wendys. This sign says it seeks to become a medical facility with other related retail and housing above it. Alright. Although it also says there will be 120 off street parking spots, that seems like a lot, yeah? (more…)

Can you see the wood guy in the background there? I’m fairly certain it will be featured in an upcoming M. Night Shyamalan film. Yikes, I can’t even look at the photo. Yeah, I’m not very tough at all.

I’m saddened that this restaurant is closed because it’s name is the best. I bet the food was delicious too.

Some of these tags are very upsetting but I couldn’t help but laugh at this one because I choose to believe it says Reko Sings. And the thought of Reko singing is funny. But again, it’s not quite clear why there are quotation marks here…

And a pretty cool fence too. What do you think about the “urn” in the middle of the garden? I’ve been noticing lots of these lately.

While not belonging to today’s house of the day (below) it’d probably be a good match.

Exiting the Petworth metro this afternoon I was handed a flier announcing Papa John’s grand opening at 1417 Otis Place. Until May 31st you can get a large 2 topping pizza for $10. 202-667-7272 Wild. But I guess the question is: If you can get delivery from Moroni and Bros. why would one ever get Papa John’s? I guess that garlic dipping sauce is pretty damn delicious.
