“I took a little vacation to Morocco over Memorial Day and just had to pack my Pop T-shirt!

This picture was taken near the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, where they happened to film the Gladiator. Not that you can really tell, but my camel and I are looking towards the High Atlas. Needless to say, my guide was a little confused as to why he had to keep taking pictures of my back all day.”

I really liked this tree from the sculpture garden on the Mall. It was a Yoko Ono Exhibit where people placed their wishes on the tree. The one above seemed more sincere than one’s simply wishing for world peace, it says:

“Good SAT Scores, get into a good college, I wish that me and Nick will get to be good friends again, love, happiness, prosperity for all, a BMW would be nice too.”

Sorry it’s half cut off but you can get the sense of the coolness here. Set back from the sidewalk with a nice little front yard.

I don’t know how I missed this because I’ve always wondered what’s going into the “100% Mexico” spot at 1612 14th Street, NW. I was checking out the Metrocurean Coming Soon section and the first listing says:

“1612 14th St. NW
Chef and sustainability advocate Barton Seaver is partnering with Eli Hengst (Blue Ridge, Sonoma) and Doug Singer to open a seafood market and restaurant on 14th Street.”

And not too far away at 14th and Q Streets, NW the big drycleaner on the corner is closing. Let the speculation begin for this prime locale. I’m guessing Cell Phone Company

I totally forgot about this wild building. It’s located off New Jersey Ave, NW near Georgetown University Law Center. I feel like this is the National Association of Realtors building? Something like that, right? Anyway, it’s a really unusual looking building but I give it a thumbs up. I also like the view with the Capitol Building in the background to the left. What do you think – thumbs up or down?

This condo is located at 1301 T Street, NW:

More info found here and a virtual tour found here.

I think this is a pretty interesting unit. You have to check out the virtual tour. The rooms are really uniquely shaped in a pretty cool way. It’s also nice that it’s got skylights. What do you think of the shapes of the rooms? Does $499,000 sound good for a 2 bed 1 bath unit in this location?
