Which do you prefer Columbia Heights’ sweet stained glass or Petworth’s new leaf sculpture?

This school offers ballet classes to those 5 and up. It is located at Georgia and Delafield.

Congrats to Elizabeth for sending in this dope sky photo. (Ed. note: I haven’t used “dope sky” in a while, I think I’m going to bring it back to the common vernacular with your help.) Anyway, this cranberry set is circa 1969, the year of love of and apparently sweet cranberry sets. Absolutely mouthwatering!
A side note, this photo was taken in the DC neighborhood of Park View. I was pleased to see Elizabeth identify her neighborhood as Park View, many in Park View claim to be from Columbia Heights, it is nice to see some Park View pride.
How do you request Trash Cans from the city?
New York Magazine has a very interesting article on the “Degentrification” of Red Hook Brooklyn. A very interesting read if you are stuck at work on this Friday after Thanksgiving or if you need a break from your family.
Props to Frozen Tropics for spotting the article.
You can read the article here.
Send me a Thanksgiving photo from this year in DC and the best one wins.
Also another plea for photos of your kitchen, bathroom and/or any rooms with interesting woodwork. Of course, “best” ones win free shirts.
“I had one of my less mentally stable (but harmless) neighbors knock on my door at 930am and ask me to pop some popcorn in my microwave for him… which I declined.”
