Two of our newest beans include a full-bodied gem of a coffee from Sumatra, Indonesia, that we call “Krakatoa.” Its distinct, pleasantly earthy profile has been very popular at our farmers markets. We also have a new decaf from Brazil that uses the chemical-free, Swiss Water Process to create a 99% caffeine-free bean with flavors of chocolate and Brazil Nut.
As former Peace Corps volunteers, we stay on-mission by purchasing our green beans from small-scale, female producers who grow great coffee. We are also finding new sources of USDA-certified organic coffee. Our selections from Sumatra, DR Congo and Colombia check this box.
