March 20-29, the DC Environmental Film Festival (DCEFF) will host screenings (many FREE) of over 75 eye-catching and exciting new films at venues across the DMV Area, including museums, foreign embassies, universities, and other cultural institutions.
This year’s lineup promises something for everyone, including films about wildlife, environmental justice, Indigenous land defenders, and the boundless mysteries of nature. On the schedule, you’ll find family-friendly new films from National Geographic, new titles having their US and World Premieres, a new documentary about Hayao Miyazaki, and exciting work from emerging artists.
Special guests of this year’s Festival include: Hip Hop Caucus President & CEO Rev. Lennox Yearwood; Indigenous activist & fashion model Quannah Chasinghorse; Best-selling author and ocean advocate Wendy Benchley; Impossible Foods Founder Pat Brown; and more prominent names from the worlds of film, journalism, science, and activism!
