On November 1, I was on the escalator leaving the Columbia Heights when I noticed a young woman in what looked like a racoon costume. You turned around and our eyes met.
We see each other all the time in the neighborhood, I’m attracted to you and I honestly think it is mutual.
We walked near each other on the street, and I said nothing. Looking back, it would have been so easy to ask you, “Are you a racoon or some cartoon character?”
You and I could totally be Catherine and Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights in a partner costume.
I was wearing my antique jacket I assume you would remember. I wear the same thing everyday like I am Homer Simpson or Scrooge McDuck. Perhaps it is I who is the cartoon character.”
