Shallow Alcove

For Fans of: Big Thief, Pinegrove, Lizzy McAlpine, Hovvdy, The Weepies

Shallow Alcove is a five-piece band made up of longtime friends Grace Krichbaum, Dan Harris, Peter Groppe, Jack Harrington, and Noah Dardaris. Blending the folk sensibilities of Upstate New York with the indie influence of New York City, their music pairs layered harmonies and intimate storytelling with an expansive, deeply personal sound. Their debut album, Pain Is A Heavy Door, captures the beauty and uncertainty of change, finding comfort in the people who help us through it.
