Knovo is a DC-based 5-piece band that delivers a dreamy blend of indie, jazz, and psych rock, which aims for both the mind and soul. Formed in 2018, Knovo is the brainchild of husband-and-wife duo TJ Turqman (bass) and Gena Photiadis (keys/vocals), and features the unique vocal stylings of Tula Pisano, who deftly weaves intricate melodies that are equal parts evocative and beautiful. Rounding out the lineup are the tasteful and dynamic contributions of guitarist Nikhel Sus and drummer Matt Tredwell. The group’s collective influences yield a sound that is melodic, yet distressed. Retro, yet new. And above all, full of light and energy.

Sonic Tonic is a new project built from experienced DC musicians. The band melts down their mix of modern funk and pop-soul into a high-energy live show, built around Emily Goodman's dynamic vocals and the groove-centric core of Winston Johnson and Seth Wooten's drums & bass. Their set pairs inventive takes on classics with Jordan Lewis's original music that shares the same rhythmic, soulful foundation. Comfortable whether its an intimate listening room or packed venue, Sonic Tonic aims to leave audiences smiling, moved, and wanting one more song.

(pronounced ‘for layla’) is a singer, songwriter and instrumentalist based in Virginia. 4la7la creates emotionally immersive soundscapes rooted in vulnerability, transformation and cinematic intimacy. Blending lo-fi textures, piano-led melodies and ambient production, her work reflects a world in flux; drifting in dreamlike narratives. Since debuting in 2023, she has quickly carved out a space in the indie alt-pop space with series of singles that evoke introspection and emotional clarity. Her sonic sound lives somewhere between the softness of a dream and the crispness of modern R&B.
