New trash receptacles have been installed in the Hobart Place pocket parks! Many thanks to the people working behind the scenes, but I think PoPville deserves a huge shout-out for creating enough social pressure for the District to finally act on this. These new trash cans should lead to a cleaner environment, fewer rats, a safer play area, and who knows…. maybe the elimination of military surveillance from our city streets?”
