“Dear PoPville,
We watched 3/4 of Written on the Wind together (at the Library of Congress) and I thought we had a great time relating about museums and our mutual love of air and space. Then
you disappeared like Cinderella in a flash and left me quite blue.
I was spending the movie eagerly awaiting the ending so I could sweep you off your feet with lavish plane rides and an offer to fly you to Miami jet-setter style. Yes, the romance of the 1950s got to me, but it must have gotten to you too if you attended the movie. Of course, maybe I would have turned out to be a gun-toting alcoholic, who knows?
Either way, just as Robert Stack asked Lauren Bacall to give her a chance, won’t you give me one too and let me take you on an adventure of a date?”

PoPville is not affiliated with either party, please proceed with any potential connection at your own risk using caution as you would any online encounter. For those curious about past missed connections, many have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made. Last week’s Passion Pit show at the 9:30 Club MC were connected!
