Take a look through our telescopes while you’re out exploring Washington, DC. Join Museum staff on the sidewalk near American University’s Duber Hall, at 3399 New Mexico Ave NW.
Experienced staff will help you to observe a variety of things, including planets, stars, and the Moon. All telescopes will be provided by the Smithsonian.
Accessibility: there is step-free access to the programming area along the public sidewalk. Written and touchable explanatory materials are available for learners of all types.
