To kick off the summer’s biggest global soccer tournament, Nando’s – the South African fast-casual favorite – is launching its first-ever, nationwide Free Chicken & Chips Day this Friday, June 12. For one evening only, any fan who visits any of Nando’s locations in DC wearing their favorite soccer jersey will receive a free meal of flame-grilled chicken and fries. The nationwide event runs between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM local time.
As an exclusive bonus, guests can add on a side of Nando’s limited-edition “Saka Sauce” – which just made its U.S. debut – to their chicken and fries meals. Created in collaboration with England soccer star Bukayo Saka, this sweet, smoky, and mildly fiery sauce sold out repeatedly in the U.K. during its overseas launch, and has now arrived in America as a part of these timely celebrations.
