About that cow mural on the side of the coming Call Your Mother in Adams Morgan:
“As I’m sure you know, the shop used to be a Ben & Jerry’s. Our co-founder, Andrew, was a regular there growing up, so it’s been a full-circle moment to be able to bring Call Your Mother into that space. While we’re putting our usual pink and playful touch on things,
we’ve put a lot of thought into how we can pay homage to what came before us, so we’ve been working with our friends over at Red Swan to see how the mural can play a role in that effort.
The original mural featured the Ben & Jerry cows, which were just too memorable to erase, so instead of a full-blown makeover, the muralists are drawing up the classic cows and incorporating our signature Call Your Mother vibes (phones, bagels, coffee) to create an awesome crossover of our two worlds!”
