3519 Connecticut Avenue, NW
From a press release:
“Wonder, the mealtime platform satisfying diners’ cravings by making exceptional meals from the nation’s best restaurants and chefs available in a single order, is thrilled to announce the openings of two new DC locations this month: Cleveland Park (3519 Connecticut Ave. NW) on Dec. 11, and Navy Yard (135 N St. SE) later in the month. [Ed. Note: I’m told Navy Yard opening will be Dec. 18, beginning at 4:30 pm.]
Through partnerships with acclaimed chefs and restaurants from across the country, including José Andrés, Bobby Flay, Maydan, and more, Wonder is making incredible, chef-driven food available to all.
Guests at the Cleveland Park and Navy Yard locations will have a range of choices, from Marcus Samuelsson’s spicy fried chicken sandwich at Streetbird and Michael Symon’s Oregano-olive oil marinated branzino at Chios Taverna, to the crisp and juicy brisket from Texas icon Tejas Barbecue and seasonal, chef-inspired salads at Wonder’s own concept, Royal Greens. And unlike traditional food delivery or ghost kitchens, Wonder does all food sourcing, food prep and menu creation, and makes every dish to order at Wonder stores. With Wonder’s first-of-its-kind Multi-Restaurant Ordering, customers can mix and match dishes from multiple chefs and restaurants in a single order, for convenient pickup, dine-in, or free delivery.
Steps from the Cleveland Park Metro station, and within blocks of Rock Creek Park hiking trails, the National Zoo and myriad local businesses, Wonder Cleveland Park is set to make mealtime even more convenient for residents of Upper Northwest DC. To celebrate the opening, Wonder will host a ribbon-cutting and offer giveaways and samples for the first 100 guests starting at 4:30 the new location on opening day Dec. 11.
When it opens later this month, Wonder Navy Yard will bring Wonder’s countless mealtime options to DC’s Southeast and Southwest communities for the first time. With Nationals Park steps away, Wonder Navy Yard will be the perfect spot for pre-game or post-game meals, plus offer incredible options for visitors to the waterfront and the thousands of Washingtonians who live and work in the area. Both locations will be designed with Wonder’s signature bright, modern space, and convenient ordering kiosks, and will each feature more than 20 top restaurants.
Wonder is a proud partner of DC Central Kitchen, the nonprofit and social enterprise that combats hunger and poverty through job training and job creation. For every meal sold in the first week of each location, Wonder will once again donate $1 to DCCK, and will continue to give patrons the opportunity to “round up” their change to make a donation to DCCK with every order, year-round.
Wonder Cleveland Park and Wonder Navy Yard will be open 10:30am-11:30pm daily.”
