A reader reports at 8:41am: “Just got offloaded on red line at Rhode Island bc someone was hit by train there.”

“Red Line: Trains are single tracking between Rhode Island Ave and NoMa-Gallaudet because of a trespasser struck by a train at Rhode Island Avenue. Expect delays in both directions. Some trains will offload at strategic locations to minimize train traffic.”

“UPDATE: Red Line: Trains are single tracking between Rhode Island Avenue and NoMa-Gallaudet while bypassing Rhode Island Avenue because of a trespasser struck by a train at Rhode Island Avenue. Expect delays in both directions. Shuttle service is being established.”
