The Highline’s collection of eight 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom condos at 30 Florida Avenue NW go on the market today.
Homes at The Highline, another project from the team behind The Skyline (1012 Harvard Street NW), The Jackson (630 14th Street NE) and Huntress Coal Oil (1225 10th Street NW), go on the market today.
Brought to market by S2 Development, Shawn Buehler (Bennett Frank McCarthy Architects), Nicol Construction, and designer Anna Kahoe of GoodWood, the eight 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom condos feature open spaces with expansive living areas and floor to ceiling windows that allow natural light to flood through and feature city views.
The signature designs of Kahoe, owner of the beloved U Street vintage furniture shop, include all-wood cabinetry, Caesarstone honed quartz counters, and wide plank maple hardwood flooring.
Most units include private balconies; the two penthouse units feature private roof decks with views of The Capitol and Washington Monument.
The Highline is located in Bloomingdale, which is being transformed by an influx of new construction projects, retail, cafes and taverns, including Red Hen, Bacio Pizzeria, El Camino, Boundary Stone, Big Bear Cafe, Old Engine 12, Tyber Creek and The Pub & the People. The neighborhood’s housing stock features varied new condominiums and majestic four-story row houses to smaller, alongside older multi-family structures.
The pricing for these condos is as follows: Unit 1 and 2: $499,000, Unit 3 and 4: $525,000, Unit 5 and 6: $550,000, Penthouse 7 and 8: $599,000. One parking spot available for $35,000. Condo fee for all units: $164.16.
These units hit the market today and open house will be held this Sunday, October 22 from 1 pm to 4 pm.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!
The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!
What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
