Great news for Cathedral Heights!!! I walked by Augie’s in the old Taleo space on Wisconsin Ave, and they are getting food and alcohol deliveries! All the fabulous beer garden tables are set up inside (still wish they could have a patio…) and it looks like they could be ready to open SOON. No one there could give me a date, but we’ve got our fingers crossed. Cathedral Heights really needs a great neighborhood pub.”
I’ve been getting so many messages asking for an Augie’s update that I walked by yesterday and got lucky – the owner was inside and tells me that they are opening up Monday night!!
Inside looks AMAZING by the by. In addition to beer garden style – the have a whole wall of awesome looking booths. This is massive for the neighborhood! The owner also assures me that the outdoor patio will be coming next year.
