I was just walking past around 1pm Oct 25 and saw the signs on the doors and I vacant found anything about it online. They’re loading what appears to be trays of food into cabs so maybe there’s a power issue? That’s speculation though.”
I called the Capital Hilton and was told they are temporarily closed due to a water pipe that burst outside which is still being worked on. The anticipate being able to reopen in a day or two.
Speaking of which another reader asks: “I’m looking for reviews for two hotels. Has anyone stayed at, or knows someone who’s stayed at, the Woodley Park Guest House and/or the Omni Shoreham? Did you enjoy your stay there? I live in a studio apartment so it’s quite a squeeze when people stay with me for a visit; a hotel would be nicer if multiple people want to visit me at once.”
