“CCLC announces that The Collection at Chevy Chase will welcome two new restaurants from Metropolitan Hospitality Group (MHG) in the fourth
quarter of 2026. The investment brings two distinctly different dining experiences by one of the D.C. region’s most established hospitality operators to Maryland for the first time. MHG is bringing a new location of Open Road, its beloved American restaurant and gathering place, to 5471 Wisconsin Avenue with a nautical spin, alongside an entirely new concept: Cove, an all-day cafe and wine bar, that will make its debut at The Collection. Together, the dual restaurant openings represent a significant expansion for MHG and a strong signal of confidence in Friendship Heights, as the locally owned hospitality group extends beyond its existing D.C. and Northern Virginia footprint.
