“A New Chapter Begins: Bramble & Rye Opening This September @ 84 T Street NW.
After several memorable years serving the Bloomingdale community, établi will close its doors in August 2026, ahead of its previously announced December timeline, to begin an exciting new chapter. Co-Owners Kathleen Davis and Thomas Boisvert have partnered with Bloomingdale residents and Co-Owners Chef Jeremiah Brooks and Anthony Brooks to reimagine the space as <strong>Bramble & Rye, a neighborhood-focused restaurant and gathering place set to open in mid-September 2026.
The current établi space will temporarily close for a comprehensive refresh and rebranding, creating a new dining experience while maintaining the welcoming spirit that has made the restaurant a fixture in the community.
As part of the transition, the beloved établi Wine Club will carry on at Bramble & Rye, continuing its tradition of monthly gatherings celebrating exceptional wines that showcase a story, place and time. The Wine Club offers longtime guests a familiar touchpoint as they welcome Bramble & Rye into the neighborhood.
