“Dear PoPville,
We are experiencing a mysterious issue in my neighborhood. For the handful of years I’ve lived on this specific block, I’ve seen food mysteriously appear on the sidewalk anywhere from once to twice a week. It usually appears to be
a very wet/sticky rice or milky cereal. Sometimes it’s more hearty meals (like the chicken and vegetables in the pic) for the past 2 weeks, I’ve taken photos (attached).
This is happening at the SW corner of Vermont Ave NW & U St NW (right next to African American Civil War Memorial).
I wonder what exactly is going on here?”
