The new location marks the brand’s second DC Metro restaurant and fifth overall in the DMV, bringing its signature SoCal flavor, full bar program, and game-day energy to the Van Ness neighborhood near the University of the District of Columbia.
DC local and multi-unit franchisee Faizan Khan is excited to introduce the Biergarten experience to the community. “Opening Dog Haus Biergarten Van Ness is about creating a true neighborhood gathering place,” said Khan. “Between the bold flavors, the craft beer and cocktail program, and the sports viewing atmosphere, we’re building a space where students, families, and fans can come together and make lasting memories.”
Known for its chef-driven approach to comfort food, Dog Haus features a lineup of signature Creekstone Farms® 100% Black Angus beef burgers and hot dogs, handcrafted sausages and fried chicken creations, alongside plant-based options, all served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls. The Biergarten format elevates the experience with a curated craft beer selection, Haus cocktails, and a dynamic sports viewing environment designed for everything from weeknight matchups to major game days. Guests can also enjoy the brand’s popular Bad-Ass Breakfast Burritos.
On Wednesday, February 18, Dog Haus Biergarten Van Ness celebrates its grand opening with a full day of specials from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., including:
• $2 off draft beer and wine
• $3 off Haus Cocktails
• 50% off dine-in tabs for Haus Rewards members

In addition, Haus Rewards members who spend $10 or more on February 18 using the credit card linked to their Haus Rewards account will receive a Free Bad-Ass Breakfast Burrito reward loaded to their app, valid for 30 days and redeemable exclusively at the Van Ness location.
Dog Haus Biergarten Van Ness will also participate in the brand’s Dine Out fundraising program, allowing local nonprofits, schools, and community organizations to host events where 20% of sales are donated directly back to the participating group.”
