I was catching the metro from Pentagon City on Sunday afternoon around 4.15pm, and there was this guy patiently waiting for an elderly women to walk down the broken escalators. He turned,
smiled and winked to me before he walked down.
As I walked past to catch the metro he called out “nice sweater”. I regret not turning around to strike up a conversation. Would love to have a proper conversation!”
