From a press release:
“Lucky Pup Yoga, a unique new yoga experience allowing yogis to flow while encircled by incredibly cute 8-week-old puppies, is now open in Adams Morgan.
Lucky Pup (2469 18th St. NW, 2nd Floor) was co-founded by DC native Sophia Bonde and veteran-turned-arist Tyler Shea to give yogis a place for serious yoga with a playful twist.
With 45 minutes of meditation and yoga surrounded by puppies followed by 30 more minutes of puppy play time and bonding, classes are perfect for birthdays, bachelorettes, or weekly visits from animal lovers.
Yoga with puppies offers numerous benefits for both guests and the dogs. Yogis experience an additional boost of a sense of well-being from being with the animals, while the sweet local puppies of all breeds and backgrounds are exposed to extra human contact and socialization.
Lucky Pup will offer puppy yoga on Saturdays and Sundays, with additional standard yoga and pilates classes scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Puppy yoga classes will be priced at $60 a person, which includes a yoga mat; regular pilates and yoga classes will be $25. Classes are open to all skill levels. Sign up here.”
