Simple Bar & Grill, a Brightwood institution for over 12 years (& located just north of Petworth on Georgia Ave) has had to close its doors. Over the years, Wilfredo and the whole Simple team tirelessly supported area families and businesses, DC’s LGBTQ+ community, local music & arts scenes, & more. As they are now faced with financial challenges due to the unexpected closure, I’ve started a GoFundMe to help with the unforeseen expenses.”
