Any update on plans for the Old Engine Company No. 12 site on North Capitol that caught fire in December, 2023? I live in the neighborhood and haven’t seen any recent activity there other than the occasional construction crew every few months.
I believe it was being converted into a new hotel at the time it caught fire. Has that project been cancelled? I really hope a developer comes in and rescues the site. There’s lots of potential there!”
