Funny how nobody bothered to mention their concerns about crime in this neighborhood in the original “Good Deal or Not” (GDoN) post. I think that may be a first.
I wish I could tell you who showed up and paid cash for this property, but it hasn’t hit the tax records yet and despite some ambitious googling, I was unable to find any relevant gossip.
My favorite tidbit on this one? Back in 1998, it was on the market for $375,000., went under contract within 3 days, and settled for $350,000. It was in bad shape, but some smarty pants builder fixed it up and sold it the following year for seven figures. Here’s the 1998 listing.
