I really like how this edition is modern yet doesn’t stick out from the classic building. This is the Capital City Public Charter School located at 15th and Irving. Incidentally, I think this may be the most multicultural school I’ve ever seen. One day I say the students let out and they were black, white, hispanic, asian, it was a beautiful sight. Anyway, what do you think of the extension?

  • can’t tell if this would look better in person.. also reminds me of the city hall in Back to the Future II

I really miss all the amazing shows that they used to have regularly at the Wilson Center, but I think it’s great that it’s serving the community in such a positive way.

This school is super diverse! They’re very active in the neighborhood, too. I like the building, but I’m probably biased b/c the kids and teachers are just that awesome.

I remember going to a rave there back in 1990. It was a shell of a building then. I think it’s great they maintained the facade and put the building to good use.

The renovations inside are beautiful as well – especially in interior areas with prior exterior walls, the brick and arches where windows used to be have been kept. It’s very bright and, as befits a school, colorful.
