12 yrs ago I started Tatte out of my home kitchen with a humble goal to create a life for myself here in the US. It was quiet the ride since then and never in my wildest dreams I thought this small but mighty bakery will touch so many people in so many ways reaching Boston and beyond… Today’s announcement makes it all even more surreal… DC we are coming your way!!!!! and we have so much to give! We cannot wait to open our doors and meet you all over Halva Latte, Shakshukah, Crunchy Halloumi, Jerusalem bagel, Pistachio croissant or Chocolate rose, it’s all coming with us! all your favorite things and so much more! Phew I said it and I did it! Massive love to my incredible team that build Tatte with me every day, they are champions and I could never do it without them. and to all our incredible guests who support and hug us every day, you rock and we are forever grateful for you.We love you back! DC see you in the Spring! ⚡️☕️#tattedc #dc #herewego #bestteam #goteamgo #tatteallday #brunchallday #tattebakery #biglove

From a press release:

“City Ridge’s joint venture partners, Roadside Development and North America Sekisui House, LLC (NASH), announced that Chef Michael Mina’s MINA Group will open two new dining concepts within the heart of the highly-anticipated, 10-acre neighborhood in early 2023. Known in DC as the creator of Bourbon Steak, and across the globe for award-winning culinary experiences that span from Las Vegas to Dubai, Michael Mina will make his return to the district at City Ridge. With him, Mina brings decades of experience serving patrons at more than 40 restaurants around the world including several U.S. presidents, and numerous accolades including a Michelin star and several James Beard Foundation Awards.

“We’ve spent the last couple of years at MINA Group focused on developing new dining concepts that are fresh and interesting and then finding the right partners for them,” said Chef Michael Mina. “City Ridge is one of the most exciting new developments to come to the DC area in recent years and we are thrilled to be able to introduce a new MINA Group restaurant to the neighborhood.”

On the ground floor of 14 Ridge Square NW, City Ridge’s central hub, MINA Group will open a “fattoria-to-table” restaurant, sourcing fresh ingredients for dishes and cocktails for City Ridge’s residents, office tenants and visitors to enjoy. The concept will span 7,815 square feet and plans to open in early 2023. 14 Ridge Square will also house CAVA Group Inc.’s new headquarters, Industrious coworking and a 30,000-square-foot Equinox.
