I am Psyched for Hispanic Heritage Month

American Psychological Association, The Spire
750 First St., NE
Washington, D.C. 20002

The American Psychological Association invites you to the I am Psyched! for Hispanic Heritage Month event. On October 1, we will honor prominent Latinx women psychologists who are working to transform society for the better and who have broken barriers in their respective professional careers.

Our honorees represent a variety of work settings, career stages, and psychology subfields. They will share what inspires them about psychology and reflect on challenges they have faced and how they have overcome them, what led them to pursue psychology as a career, and how they have used their training as psychologists to engage in positive social change.

This is the seventh in our series of I am Psyched! Heritage and Awareness Month events honoring women of color psychologists.

Visitors are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to the event. Seating is available on a first-come basis.

Register early and be entered to win a limited-edition poster autographed by the honorees.
