Metropolitan Community Church of DC
474 Ridge St NW
Washington, D.C. 20001

Help support displaced tenants at Barry Farm with a night of theatre.

Come listen to the the powerful personal stories of six women who live in DC public housing. Based on the true stories of the performers, On My Mind/In My Heart will give you a greater appreciation for the people who call public housing home. These stories will be brought to the stage thanks to the talented writing of Caleen Jennings and staging of Director Thembi Duncan, and accompanied by DJ RBI.

Barry Farm public housing residents are fighting against the city’s plans to displace them from their community. Join Justice for Barry Farm, Empower DC, and SURJ-DC to learn more about life in public housing and support them in their fight. All proceeds will go to Empower DC to support their work alongside impacted tenants.
