Fire & Ice Festival at The Wharf

The Wharf
101 District Square
Washington, D.C. 20003

Some like it hot, some like it cold. Join The Wharf for the second annual Fire & Ice Festival on District Pier, featuring WAFF Ice House. On Saturday, January 19 from 2-5 p.m., we’ll turn up the heat with a DJ, whiskey sampling stations, fire twirlers and an ice sculptor.

Get the party started with ice shuffleboard or ice cornhole, grab a seat on the royal ice throne and take a turn at the ice luge–all donations benefit WAFF. Warm up with whiskey samplings from Bulleit, Catoctin Creek, District Distilling, Falls Church Distillers, Heaven Hill, KO Distilling and more. Plus the day wouldn’t be complete without s’mores by the firepit!

Event is free and open to the public, must be 21+ to consume alcohol. Sampling tickets will be sold on-site. Check out the Facebook event page and RSVP.

Between 12-8 p.m. on both Friday, Jan. 18 and Saturday, Jan. 19, stop by the WAFF Ice House and help support the Washington Area Fuel Fund in their mission to raise funds to keep our neighbors warm this winter. Sit in the House, get your “Bring the Heat” thermal photo, and more! Visit WAFF’s website for the latest Ice House event schedule.
