Put your troubles aside and forget your worries by dancing the night away at the famed Great American Square Dance Revival! Our very own Dave Hauver takes the reins calling this one, bringing the fun with a mix of dances designed for newcomers and veterans alike. Live old-time bluegrass music from the Minneapolis-based stringband Steam Machine – fresh off their second place finish at the prestigious Clifftop Appalachian String Band Festival. Known for their clean, powerful fiddling, driving three finger banjo, and lively rhythm section, they’re sure to get you out of your seat (or out of a funk) and onto the dance floor.
As always, all are welcome: young and old, brand new and experienced dancers. No partner, lessons, overalls or fancy dress needed.
